How well do you know energy labels?

The energy labels for household appliances is a well-established reality in our lives as consumers. We know that it is better to buy an A class product than a D class one and that the colour green indicates a low energy consumption.

However, the technological evolution of appliances and the gradual expansion of energy labels towards other types of tools has made their interpretation less immediate, so that today the same energy class applied to different kinds of equipment has a different meaning.

One example: the class A + is the worst on the market for certain categories of products (refrigerators, freezers, washing machines and dishwashers)! For these categories, the most efficient devices are class A +++.

In contrast, for other categories such as ovens and televisions class A + is the best you can find on the market today.

How to orient then? The attached infographic allows to have the updated picture of the situation at a glance. Also, you can consult to always choose the most efficient products on the Italian market.
