EGS | Schools for energy efficiency

The project promoted the pivotal role of schools to improve local communities' commitment for energy efficiency. The project created a European network of 13 schools that:

  • signed a Manifesto for Improving Energy Efficiency; 
  • hosted training courses for teachers about energy saving
  • put in practice a system about energy management. 

Moreover, local forums had been organized according to Agenda 21 participative approach in order to design energy plans for local communities.
